About Our Breeding Program

My name is Karīna Veipa and working with dogs has been my dream since i was a child. I am a small FCI (future) hobby breeder breeding White Swiss Shepherd Dogs. The (future) kennel's name "Diawo" comes from "Diamond Wolves" and i chose this name because dogs are the gems of the household- beautiful, unique, with an unbreakable bond and for some of us, expensive as well. I am located in Latvia- living in Riga but raising puppies in the Taurupe region of Latvia.

What sets me apart from most breeders is my focus on improving the genetic COI of the breed, and my strong want to produce dogs with great pigment, structure and temperament so that my puppies can be used not only as household pets, but also show and/or sport dogs. I have achieved this goal by importing my first (And for the time being only) breeding bitch Migla from the great German kennel “Vom Weissen Birkenstolz” so that I can breed Migla with different studs from the region while still maintaining a pedigree COI of 0%. More information about Migla can be found in the “Our Dogs” section of the website. I also believe that only the best of the best puppies should be used as breeding dogs. Because of this fact, I choose only a small part of any litter to leave to future breeding homes.

In my puppy parents I look for active, dog-loving people who are ready to give my puppies the best life possible and can meet the needs of this energetic, smart and loving breed.
